Taipei Chengshih University of Science and Technology MANDARIN CENTER CRITERIA FOR THE TEACHERS

(a)

Educational Attainment:

(1) It requires higher than University Degree Educational attainment.

　

(2) It should pass the training program for teaching chinese Mandarin and had obtain the certificate.

(b)

With or without actual experience:

　

(1)  At least over 1 year experience in teaching Mandarin

　

(2) If no teaching experience, it should undergo 10hours of one week of teaching trial of Chinese Mandarin course

　

(3) Before officially assign to teach, training program will includes:

　

    ( i )Mandarin Phonetics, Mandarin Phrasing
    ( ii)Mandarin Pronounciation
    (iii)Word Structure
    (iv)Mandarin Teaching Curriculum

(c)

Training is ongoing while the teacher is assign to teach, training contents include teaching Mandarin as the primary goal, observation on how the procedure to teach Mandarin.

(d)

There will be regularly or periodically review, arbitration and examination on the ability of the teacher that will suite to the fundamentals standard of teaching Chinese or will conduct an evaluation from the students.
